Mother’s Day Tribute

Many people believe that estate planning is only for the particularly wealthy who have elaborate plans in mind for passing money to their heirs. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Estate planning is for everyone who cares about the well-being of those they love and desires to make a difference in their lives after they’re gone.

As a young man, I grew up in a household with parents who cared deeply for their children.  They gave us everything we needed—a roof over our head, food for our stomachs, and love to feed our hearts. What they didn’t have was a plan for sudden tragedy.

When I was 17, my father was diagnosed with cancer and died six months later. My mother was now a 43-year-old, single parent raising six children. The lack of planning certainly made things more difficult. Even so, my mother worked and sacrificed many years to ensure that her children thrived.

Fast forward to 2019

As an Estate Planning attorney, I have now had the privilege of helping many hard-working, single mothers by creating estate plans that ensure their children will be taken care of in the event something happens to them.  My firm’s customized approach enables us to draft plans with each family member in mind so that no matter the family dynamics, we can provide peace of mind.

In honor of Mother’s Day, we are offering a $500 discount during the month of May for single mothers who want to protect their assets for their children.

If you or someone you know is a single mother, please call our office to schedule a free consultation. Mention “Mother’s Day Credit” and let us give you a gift that will support your legacy.
