DULCE JORLENY CRUZ CELAYA

Dulce Cruz is the newest member at Celaya Law. She primarily works as the assistant marketing director and as a translator for our latino community. She is currently enrolled in an online program to further her skills in marketing. 

Dulce is a first time generation immigrant, born in Mexico. At the young age of ten years old, she and her family immigrated to Utah where they settled long term. 16 years later she met her husband and they moved to Puerto Rico, where they learned to love a new culture. 

While attending high school in Utah, Dulce discovered her passion for the medical field and went on to become a surgical assistant. The pace and expectations of the operating room allowed her to develop a strong work-ethic, and taught her the importance of efficient and quality work. She plans to bring these skills with her as she changes focus in her career. Outside of Dulce’s schooling and career, life circumstances necessitated that she develop proficient translation skills from a very young age due to her parents not having the ability to communicate in English. It is because of her own family experiences that she is eager to aid Spanish speaking families who come to our firm. 

During her spare time, you can catch Dulce out on a run or playing with her pug. Over the weekends she loves to go out to the city with her husband to enjoy a nice meal or to go shopping.
